Kalari is an unique system of healing combining herbal oil massages with application of pressure on specific nerve points. Accommodation : fringed lakes. At Golden Waters an intricate lacework of canals intersect the 17 acre waterfront property. There are 28 quaint cottages, all constructed on the banks of the canals. In fact some of these cottages are on stilts in the water. Each cottage is accessible by boat or by foot over cobbled pathways and rustic bridges. The cottages themselves have air conditioned interiors with all modern amenities for a comfortable stay.

The cottages are located on 13 islands and you can fish out of each cottage window !!!

Houseboat : The ultimate waterfront experience is an overnight cruise on a traditional Kerala rice boat. The charming cocoon shaped silhouette has been retained and the interior has been converted into an elegant suite complete with bedroom, living and dining area and all other modern amenities. The boats are manned by experienced crew, well versed in local lore and always ready to dish out delectable dishes as the boat navigates the still backwaters.

Speed Thrills : Zip along the backwaters of Kumarakom for 1 half hrs. in a 40hp speed boat to experience the village life along the canal.

Family fun on a Boat : An inflated fiber glass speed boat in the shape of a Banana will be accommodate your family which will be criss-crossing in the lake, can carry 6 pax at a time.

Water skiing : Adventure sport, Ride through the backwaters and enjoy the speed thrills. 1 person at a time.

Backwaters Cruise : In the backwaters one of the most enjoyed programme by our resort. The cruise takes you through backwaters and paddy fields. Reach R-block, a 3000 acres Island in the Vembanad lake which is lower than the sea. On your way back see Pathiramanal Island. Legends say that this Island emerged from the lake . The whole trip takes 5 hours and is highly recommended.

Sunset Cruise : This is enjoyed by one and all who stay in our resort. The cruise takes you to Vembanad lake through a different route. The GREs make the trip enjoyable with the local boat songs. Tea/coffee and snacks served on the boat. Trip takes 3 hrs.

Country Boat : A ride in the traditional vallam through the countryside to have a glimpse of the village life along the river.

Cultural Tour : An escorted evening trip to experience the traditional cultural sites of Kerala. This trip includes visit to the Shiva Temple of Ettumanoor famous for its mural paintings and intrinsic carvings, martial art center "Kalarippayattu", a demonstration at the "Kalari" and a visit to an ancient house a "Naalukettu".

Natur Walk : An escorted morning walk through the serene Kerala villages to experience the tropical morning and to see the flora and fauna.

Breakfast Cruise : Cruise in the traditional vallam along the river in the morning tasting the typical Kerala breakfast.

Bird Sanctuary : visitA 1-1/2 hrs. trek to the nearby migratory bird sanctuary in the morning.
